> HyperSphere builds preemptive data protection technology that makes stolen data mathematically inaccessible, even when keys, credentials, or infrastructure are compromised. Our flagship product, HyperSphere DNA™ (Data Neutralization Appliance), is an S3-compatible storage gateway that delivers zero-management encryption — eliminating Key Management Systems (KMS) as an attack surface.

HyperSphere is a US-based cybersecurity company headquartered in the Washington D.C. metro area. We are recognized 11× by Gartner in the Preemptive Cyber Defense category and are the first cyberstorage product listed on the NIST National Checklist Program. ## What HyperSphere does

- **Preemptive Data Protection**: a category of cybersecurity that prevents data exposure rather than detecting or responding to breaches after the fact.
- **Zero-Management Encryption**: HyperSphere DNA handles encryption, key derivation, and key destruction automatically. There are no keys to rotate, store, or protect.
- **S3-compatible**: drops in front of AWS S3, Wasabi, MinIO, Cloudflare R2, and other S3-compatible storage backends without application changes.
- **Quantum-resistant**: designed against both classical and quantum cryptographic threats, including "harvest now, decrypt later" attacks.
- **Fail-closed architecture**: when keys, credentials, or infrastructure are compromised, the result is denial of access — never data exposure.

- **vs. Traditional KMS (AWS KMS, Azure Key Vault, HashiCorp Vault)**: complementary on the control plane; HyperSphere eliminates the data-plane dependency on keys at rest.
